Job Description

The Kerala PSC is inviting applications for an Architectural Draftsman Grade II position in the Public Works Department's Architectural Wing. This is an SC candidate-only recruitment. A certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship issued by Kerala Government ITCs or a National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship issued by NCVT is required of applicants. At least one year experience in computer-aided building drafting under a Registered Architect or Civil Engineering organization is required, with experience in AutoCAD Level 1 & 2 or equivalent architectural CAD software. The pay scale of this position is ₹31,100 to ₹66,800. The appointees shall undergo probation for two years in a continuous period of three years. Practical examination in CAD drafting will be included in the selection procedure.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community and be between the ages of 18 and 41, born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007. Applicants should possess a valid certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by Government of Kerala ITCs or a National Trade Certificate by NCVT. A minimum of one year experience in computer-aided drafting under a registered architect or civil engineering firm is required. Proficiency in CAD drafting must be proven through a practical test. Applications from other communities will be rejected without notice. Candidates must upload their experience certificate at the time of application submission and ensure all eligibility conditions are satisfied for the final selection.
