Job Description

Kerala State Water Transport asks for applications for the Caulker post. The applicants must have passed Standard VII or equivalent and should have not less than three years of experience as a Caulker in a sanctioned boat building yard. The selected person will be on a pay scale of ₹24,400–₹55,200. The chosen candidate will be under probation for two years within a connected period of three years. 4% of the total vacancies reported are kept for differently-abled candidates who are eligible, according to G.O.(P) No. 13/2024/SJD. Experience certificates in the specified format have to be submitted by applicants and uploaded at the time of application. The ranked list will have a minimum life span of one year and a maximum of three years.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Standard VII or equivalent and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Caulker in an approved boat building yard. Experience certificate in the prescribed format must be uploaded. Age must be between 18 and 36 years as of 01.01.2025. Relaxation is available for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS&SSR is applicable. Equivalent qualifications will be accepted if supported by relevant government orders.
