Job Description

Kerala Public Service Commission announces applications for the Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) vacancy in Upper Primary Schools under the Education Department. Vacant posts are reported from Kannur district. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary with Arabic, Afzal-ul-Ulama Preliminary, or a degree in Arabic with D.El.Ed or B.Ed in Arabic. KTET Category IV is compulsory unless exempted by qualifications such as CTET, NET, SET, M.Ed, or Ph.D. Age is 18–40 years and relaxation for the qualified communities. It will be district-wise selection and candidates should apply only to Kannur. Transfers from the recommended district are restricted within a period of five years. Candidates eligible should register online through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration website on or before 24 July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with qualifications in Arabic (as language or degree) and teaching training (D.El.Ed Arabic or B.Ed Arabic). KTET Category IV required unless exempted (CTET, NET, SET, M.Phil, Ph.D, M.Ed). Must be within age limit 18–40 years with age relaxation as per rules. Special preference for wives of Jawans, Scouts & Guides, and Lab Attenders with 5 years service.
