Job Description

Kerala PSC accepts applications from suitable employees working in General Education Department for Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) in Upper Primary Schools in Kannur through By-Transfer process. Candidates should have held continuous service in the department for 5 years as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Full Time Menial. Necessary academic qualifications are Arabic-related educational qualifications with D.El.Ed (Arabic) or B.Ed in Arabic. KTET Category IV is obligatory except through exemption through M.Ed, NET, SET, or other such higher degrees. The applicants should apply only to Kannur, and the service certificate in the prescribed format should be uploaded. The selection is done based on district-wise merit. It is a good opportunity for present employees to change over to a teaching profession through departmental promotion.

Eligibility Criteria

Approved Probationer/Full Member in General Education Department with 5 years service. Must have Arabic qualifications + D.El.Ed (Arabic) or B.Ed in Arabic. KTET IV required unless exempted.
