Job Description

Kerala PSC is inviting applications for the post of High School Teacher (Arabic) in the Education Department through recruitment by transfer. The vacancy is at Kasaragod district and is open to eligible employees who are serving as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder in the General Education Department with a minimum service of 5 years. Candidates should have a Degree in Arabic and B.Ed/B.T./L.T., or a Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic with Language Teachers Training. KTET Category III is required unless exempted through CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. Appointment is district-based, and inter-district transfer is not allowed within the initial five years. Post Graduates and double majors in Arabic and Islamic History (Calicut University) are also qualified.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be an approved probationer or full member working as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder in the General Education Department with at least 5 years of service. Required: Degree in Arabic or recognized equivalent with B.Ed/B.T./L.T. KTET Category III required unless exempted. Double majors (Arabic and Islamic History from Calicut University) also eligible. Rule 10(a)(ii) and Rule 2(13) of KS&SSR apply.
