High School Teacher (Malayalam) – Recruitment by Transfer

Job Description

Kerala PSC has issued recruitment through transfer for High School Teacher (Malayalam) in the Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad districts under the General Education Department. This is open to full members or sanctioned probationers who are employed as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder with an experience of five years or more. The applicants should possess a Degree in Malayalam and B.Ed/B.T./L.T. or equivalent. Or, a Title of Oriental Learning in Malayalam with Language Teachers Training is also acceptable. K-TET (Category III) is essential unless exempted under CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed or appointment before 31.03.2012. The appointment will be district-wise and on a ranked list that will be valid for 1 to 3 years. A candidate can apply to only one district. Inter-district transfers are not permissible for the first 5 years of service. No age limit is laid down for this internal hiring.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder with 5 years of service in the General Education Department. Required: Degree in Malayalam or equivalent with B.Ed/B.T./L.T. or recognized Title of Oriental Learning in Malayalam and Language Teachers Training. K-TET Category III qualification required unless exempted. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS&SSR applies. Equivalent qualifications approved by government orders are accepted.
