Job Description

Kerala PSC calls for applications from qualified employees of the General Education Department for High School Teacher (Sanskrit) post by transfer recruitment. This is district-wise recruitment and has Thrissur (2 posts) and Kannur (1 post) vacancies. The candidates should be approved probationers or full members employed as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder with a minimum 5 years service. The essential qualification is a Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed, or a Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit and Language Teachers Training. KTET Category III is essential unless exempted. Inter-district transfer is banned for five years. Applications should be made through Kerala PSC's One Time Registration portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Employees of General Education Department with at least 5 years of service as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attendant, or Binder. Required: Degree in Sanskrit + B.Ed/B.T./L.T. OR Oriental Title + Language Teachers Training. KTET Category III required unless exempted (CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed). Postgraduates in Sanskrit with B.Ed also eligible. ‘Siksha Sastri’ exams accepted as B.Ed equivalent. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) and Part I Rule 2(13) apply.
