Junior Instructor (Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance)

Job Description

The Junior Instructor (Maintenance of Information and Communication Technology Systems) in the Industrial Training Department has the mandate to train students in ICT system maintenance, repair, hardware, and installation procedures in government-operated ITIs. The occupant of this position either needs to hold a National Trade Certificate and 3 years of trade experience, a National Apprenticeship Certificate and 1 year experience, or a diploma in the involved engineering field. The candidates should also have SSLC or equivalent. Relevant experience as Workshop Attender in the same trade will be accepted. According to latest G.O. issued on 09.10.2024, SC/ST and Low Vision candidates are exempted from experience, subject to valid medical certificates being produced. The selection list of the candidates shall be operative for a period of at least one year and a maximum period of three years. 4% of reported vacancies are kept aside for eligible Differently Abled candidates under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

SSLC or equivalent qualification AND any one of the following:\n- National Trade Certificate (NTC) with 3 years of experience in the trade\n- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with 1 year of experience in the trade- Diploma in the relevant engineering branch Experience as a Workshop Attender is also considered valid. SC/ST and Low Vision candidates are exempted from the experience requirement, provided they submit a valid medical certificate.
