Job Description

Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation Limited is calling for application for the job of Lower Division Typist. The candidate should have passed Plus Two or equivalent and should possess Lower Grade Certificates in English and Malayalam Typewriting (KGTE) with knowledge in Computer Word Processing. Candidates who have secured KGTE prior to January 2002 should possess a different certificate in Word Processing. The scale of pay for the post is ₹9,190 – ₹15,780. The selection is to be done on direct recruitment basis. The ranked list shall be valid for at least one year and for a maximum of three years. 4% of vacancies reported will be reserved for eligible candidates belonging to the disability category. SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for relaxation in age as per rules. Provisional hands will get further relaxation subject to their service period. Selected candidates will be placed on probation according to the Special Rules of the Corporation.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in Plus Two or equivalent, Lower Grade Certificates in Typewriting English (KGTE) with Computer Word Processing and Malayalam (KGTE) are mandatory. Separate certificate in Word Processing required for those who passed Typewriting before 2002. Applicants must be between 18–36 years of age, with relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, and provisional hands. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS&SSR applies. Equivalent qualifications recognized by Government will also be accepted.
