Job Description

Kerala PSC invites online applications for the post of Designer in the Department of Archaeology. There is one current vacancy (and a ranked list valid for one to three years for further reported posts). Qualifications: Pass in SSLC and a certificate course in painting or drawing. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Certificate in Land Survey and Draughtsmanship. Selected candidates will undergo prescribed training and will be on probation for 2 years within 3 years from date of duty. Passing the Executive or Lower Account Test within the probation period is mandatory. Direct recruitment, all-India eligibility. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii equivalency applies.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in SSLC or equivalent, certificate in painting or drawing, age 18–36 (relaxation for OBC/SC/ST). Preference for Land Survey & Draughtsmanship certificate. Statewide direct recruitment.
