Job Description

Kerala PSC invites online applications from eligible male candidates for the post of Police Constable (Band/Bugler/Drummer) in the Police (Band Unit). There are 108 statewide vacancies (Category No: 419/2025), scale of pay ₹31,100 – 66,800. Candidates must be aged 18–26, with applicable relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/Ex-service/horse-riding experience as per rules. Differently abled and female candidates are ineligible. Educational qualification is Plus Two or equivalent, and candidates must have 1+ years of specific band/bugle/drums experience in a Govt-registered entity. Selection includes a practical proficiency test in music. Ranked list valid for one year. Strict certificate requirements for community, eligibility, and experience apply.
