Job Description

Kerala PSC invites online applications for Reporter Grade II (Malayalam) (Head Constable - General Executive Force) post in Kerala Police Department. One vacancy is available. The ranked list will remain valid for one to three years. Probation period is two years within three years. Candidates undergo training at Police Recruit School and shorthand training in Malayalam. Passing the Standard I & II Speed Tests, English Typewriting (Lower), and biannual Efficiency Tests during service are mandatory. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) applies for equivalencies. Medical and physical standards mandated.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aged 18-26 (relaxations for SC/ST/OBC), SSLC pass, Malayalam Shorthand & Typewriting (Lower Grade) pass, proficient in Malayalam, meet physical standards for Constable. Direct recruitment.
