Job Description

Kerala PSC invites direct, district-wise applications for Beat Forest Officer in the Forest and Wildlife Department (Category No: 211/2025). There are anticipated vacancies across all districts. Applicants must be 19–30 years old (relaxations for OBC/SC/ST up to a max age of 50), have passed Plus Two or equivalent, and qualify rigorous physical, endurance, and medical tests. Men must be at least 168 cm tall (SC/ST: 160 cm) with a chest measurement of 81 cm (expansion 5 cm), and clear 5 out of 8 physical events plus a 2 km run in 13 minutes. Women must be at least 157 cm tall (SC/ST: 150 cm) and pass 5 out of 9 physical events plus a 2 km run in 15 minutes. Applicants must have perfect hearing, normal color vision, and meet strict fitness standards set by Kerala PSC; candidates must supply a medical certificate as proof. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Applicants may apply for only one district and must complete their online application via Kerala PSC’s One Time Registration before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Plus Two/12th pass or equivalent, age 19–30 (with OBC/SC/ST relaxation up to max 50), strict physical standards (height, chest, events, endurance test), perfect hearing/vision, medical clearance. One district choice per candidate. Not open to differently abled.
