Job Description
Applications are invited online only through One Time Registration from qualified candidates for the post of Boat Lascar in Kerala State Water Transport. Pay scale is ₹24,400–55,200/-, with anticipated vacancies. Essential eligibility includes literacy in Malayalam, Tamil, or Kannada and a current Lascar’s Licence which must remain valid through the entire selection process and appointment. Selection is through direct recruitment. Candidates will be selected from a ranked list valid for a minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years or until a new list is published. 4% reservation applies to eligible differently abled candidates as per current government order.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates literate in Malayalam, Tamil, or Kannada with a current Lascar’s Licence; age 19–36 with eligible relaxations; applications are statewide and open to all with required credentials.
