Job Description
This is a statewide special recruitment exclusively for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates to the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Trainee) in the Fire and Rescue Services. The ranked list will remain in force for one year from finalization and will be used to fill the two existing SC/ST vacancies and any further SC/ST special-recruitment vacancies reported during the list’s currency. Candidates for vacancies exclusively reserved for Scheduled Tribes will also be advised from this same list, and a separate ST-only notification will be issued only if no ST candidates are available in the list. Applications from non-SC/ST candidates will be rejected without individual intimation.
Eligibility Criteria
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State, aged 18–31 years, with Plus Two or equivalent (and preferably Diploma in Computer Application), who also satisfy the prescribed physical standards and are medically fit. Women and differently abled persons are not eligible. Candidates must be ready to undergo the required training and tests as per Fire and Rescue Services rules.
