Job Description

Kerala PSC invites applications for L P School Teacher (Tamil Medium) vacancies in Palakkad district. There are 5 direct recruitment posts available with a salary scale of ₹35,600 – 75,400. To qualify, applicants must have passed SSLC, Pre-degree, or Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and hold TTC (Tamil) or its recognized alternatives (including D.Ed/D.El.Ed/Teacher Education diplomas). K-TET Category I or prescribed exemptions (such as higher teaching qualifications) are mandatory. 4% of the vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates. The age limit is 18–40 years with relaxations for reserved categories, never exceeding 50 years. Preference and age concessions exist for wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts/Guides, and qualifying Laboratory Attenders. The Palakkad district ranked list remains valid for a minimum of one year and up to three years. Apply through Kerala PSC’s One Time Registration portal before the deadline. Appointees are generally not eligible for inter-district transfer for five years after appointment.
