Job Description

This first NCA statewide notification is to fill community-reserved posts in the Kerala Police Mounted Police Unit, exclusively from OBC and SC communities. The ranked list will remain in force until all OBC and SC vacancies left unfilled from the mother list (Cat. No. 248/2023, Ranked List No. 459/2025/ER XV) are filled. Male candidates only may apply; women and differently abled candidates are ineligible. Shortlisted candidates must clear a practical proficiency test in horse riding conducted by Kerala PSC, in addition to usual police selection stages as prescribed by rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Kerala PSC 1st NCA notification for Police Constable (Mounted Police), reserved for OBC and SC candidates. Requires Plus Two and 1 year horse riding experience, with specific age limits, ex-servicemen concessions, and practical riding proficiency test.
