Job Description

Applications are invited online from Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State through One Time Registration for the post of Tractor Driver Grade II in the Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare Department. This is a Special Recruitment restricted to ST candidates. One vacancy is reported from Kannur District. Candidates should have a Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering from Kerala Agricultural University. In the absence of such candidates, NTC holders in Mechanic (Tractor/Motor Vehicle/Diesel) or Fitter, with at least one year practical experience after acquiring the certificate, are eligible. Proficiency will be assessed through a practical test by Kerala PSC. The candidate must also possess a valid Tractor Driving License throughout all selection stages. The pay scale is ₹25,100–57,900/-. Age limit is 19–41 years as on 01.01.2025, with relaxation up to 50 years if no qualified candidates are available. Recruitment will be district-wise (Kannur) and candidates appointed must serve 5 years in Kannur before being eligible for district transfer. Applications from non-ST candidates will be rejected without intimation.
