Online applications are invited through One Time Registration for U.P School Teacher (Tamil Medium) in Idukki district under Recruitment By Transfer. Pay scale is ₹35,600–75,400/-. One vacancy is reported in Idukki. Applicants must be approved probationers/full members of the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service with five years’ service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial in the General Education Department as on the date of application, as per cited Government Orders. A district‑wise ranked list for Idukki will remain in force for a minimum of one year and up to three years, or until a new list is published after one year. Selection is on a revenue district basis; inter‑district transfer requires five years of continuous service and is subject to applicable rules. Reservation rules (KS&SSR Part II Rules 14–17) do not apply to Recruitment By Transfer. In the absence of suitable By Transfer candidates, vacancies will be filled from the Direct Recruitment ranked list.

Eligibility Criteria

Approved probationer/full member of Kerala General Education Subordinate Service with minimum 5 years’ service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial in General Education Department as on the application date. Academic: SSLC/Pre‑Degree/HSE plus TTC (Tamil) or Degree with B.Ed/B.T/L.T (Tamil). KTET Category II required unless exempted by CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed as per orders. D.Ed/D.El.Ed are acceptable TTC equivalents.
