Job Description

Applications are invited online only from Scheduled Caste women candidates of Kerala State through One Time Registration for the post of Woman Fire & Rescue Officer (Trainee) in the Fire and Rescue Services Department. This is a First NCA Notification to fill the SC backlog vacancy that remained unfilled during the validity of the previously published Mother Ranked List (Cat. No. 312/2023). The pay scale is ₹27,900–63,700/- and one vacancy exists in Kollam District. Recruitment is restricted to women SC candidates; men and differently abled candidates are not eligible. Educational requirement: Plus Two pass or equivalent, with preference for Diploma in Computer Application. Candidates must also meet prescribed physical standards as per government orders. Recruitment will be on a revenue district basis, and a candidate appointed in one district must serve for five years before becoming eligible for transfer. NCC cadets, SPC certificate holders, and meritorious sportspersons will receive additional weightage marks as per Government Orders. The age limit is 18–31 years with no further relaxations.

Eligibility Criteria

Scheduled Caste women of Kerala State only. Must have passed Plus Two or equivalent. Computer Diploma preferred. Must satisfy physical standards. Age 18–31 years (born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2007). Male and differently abled candidates not eligible.
