Job Description

Online applications invited via One Time Registration for Head of Department in Textile Technology in Government Polytechnics under Technical Education Department. Three statewide vacancies with ranked list valid minimum 1 year, maximum 3 years or until new list published. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) applies. Non-qualifying degrees (PhD/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship in relevant subjects) attract weightage marks: M.Phil (2 marks), PhD (4 marks), both (5 marks), Post Doctoral (2 marks) if acquired before application closing date. Equivalent/higher qualifications per government orders accepted with proof. Liability to serve in Defence Services for first 10 years (limited to under 40 years) as per G.O.(Ms) No. 284/PRD dated 02.11.1967.

Eligibility Criteria

First Class BE/B.Tech in Textile Technology/Engineering (regular course) + 5 years Polytechnic Lecturer experience. Age 20-41. Non-qualifying higher degrees get weightage. Defence service liability applies.
