Job Description

Kerala Public Service Commission invites applications for Sub Inspector of Police (Trainee) – Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe candidates only. The single vacancy is statewide and offers a pay scale of ₹45,600–95,600. Applicants must be ST men, aged 20–36, and hold a degree (or, if not enough ST applicants, Intermediate/Pre University Exam for SC/ST). Physical requirements include a minimum height of 160.02 cm, chest of 81.28 cm (with 5.08 cm expansion), perfect vision, and freedom from physical defects. Achievements in sports, NCC, or military training are desirable. Candidates must provide a medical certificate of physical fitness (from a civil surgeon or above) covering specified standards. Differently abled candidates and women are not eligible. Applications not from Scheduled Tribe candidates are automatically rejected.
