Job Description

Kerala PSC announces Sixth NCA Special Recruitment for SC/ST for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Arabic (Part-time, Higher Secondary) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Four seats are reserved for SC, one for ST; if no eligible candidate in either group, the vacancy may be swapped. Applicants must be 20–45 (up to 50 if needed) and hold a Master's in Arabic with 45%+, a Kerala university-approved B.Ed or suitable equivalent, and must pass the Kerala SET (or have a valid exemption). Preference will be given to those with Ph.D, M.Phil, JRF, or NET, and academic weightage will be applied for non-qualifying research degrees as per PSC rules. Exemptions exist for Language Teachers Training and M.Ed holders. Recruitment is by direct application only from eligible SC or ST candidates; all others are summarily rejected. Appointees must attain B.Ed if only SET+Master’s qualified. Ranked lists last until all earmarked community vacancies are filled or for up to three years.
