Job Description

Online applications are invited through One Time Registration for the Research Officer post in the Economics and Statistics Department. Pay is ₹51,400–1,10,300/-. Anticipated vacancies. 4% of all reported vacancies are reserved for eligible differently abled candidates. The ranked list remains in force for at least one year and up to three years, or until a new list is published after a year. Every appointee must serve a two-year probation with a six-month field duty in District Offices and must pass the Account Test for Executive Officers or the Lower/Higher Account Test during probation unless already qualified. Rule 10a(ii) of KS&SSR (Part II) applies.

Eligibility Criteria

PG degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/Commerce (with relevant statistics provision). Indian citizen; age 20–36 (relaxations for reserved categories); one time registration required.
