Job Description

Kerala PSC invites applications from male candidates of Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian and Viswakarma communities for the post of Caretaker under the Women and Child Development Department. The job provides a pay scale of ₹27,900 – ₹63,700. The eligible candidates should have completed Plus Two or equivalent and one year of experience as a Caregiver in any institution approved by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board or Social Justice Department. The selected candidates will get an in-service training for 3 months under a Probation Officer. The post involves a 2-year probation period within a continuous period of 3 years. Applications by candidates who are from other communities will be declined without personal notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Only male candidates belonging to the Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian and Viswakarma communities are eligible to apply. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 39 years, born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007. Candidates should have passed Plus Two or its equivalent and must have at least one year of relevant caregiving experience in a child care institution recognized by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board, Social Justice Department, or Women and Child Development Department. Experience certificates must be uploaded at the time of application and attested by appropriate authorities. In-service training and a two-year probation period apply post-appointment.
