Job Description

Kerala PSC welcomes applications from suitable candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian community for the designation of High School Teacher (Hindi) in the Kannur district under the Education Department. The remuneration is ₹41,300 – ₹87,000. Applicants should hold a Degree in Hindi or an equivalent title obtained from a Kerala university and a proper training qualification such as B.Ed, BT, or a Diploma in teaching Hindi. K-TET Category III qualification is essential unless exempted by qualifications of general recognition like NET, SET, or M.Ed. This job is district-bound and applicants should apply only to Kannur. Those already employed as High School Teachers in any district need not reapply. Probation period and preference rules will be governed according to government regulations. Apply through Kerala PSC One Time Registration on or before 16/07/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

"Only candidates from the Latin Catholic or Anglo Indian community are eligible. Applicants must be aged 18–43 as of 01/01/2025 (born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007). A degree in Hindi and a teaching qualification like B.Ed, BT, or recognized Hindi teaching diploma is required. K-TET Category III is mandatory unless exempted through CTET, NET, SET, M.Phil, or M.Ed. Candidates must apply specifically to Kannur district. Applications from other communities or districts will be summarily rejected without notice.
