Job Description
Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) invites applications in response to the 12th NCA Notification for the position of Part Time High School Teacher (Arabic) in the Education Department of Kannur. The position is reserved for ST candidates. If there are no ST candidates with the required qualifications, SC candidates will be given consideration. Candidates need to hold a degree in Arabic and B.Ed or equivalent recognized qualification. KTET Category III is compulsory unless exempted. Salary scale is from ₹26,500 to ₹60,700. Selection is district-wise and after appointment, transfer to another district is not allowed for five years. Eligibility Criteria
Scheduled Tribe candidates from Kerala with Arabic degree and B.Ed or its recognized equivalent. Must hold KTET-III unless exempted. Must be aged 18–45 as of 01.01.2025. Preference will be given to the wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts, and eligible nursery/primary school teachers as per government norms.
